Accepting Debit / Credit Cards & New Updates

We have been working hard to help fix the concerns of visitors and members who want more options.  One of those was the ability to pay donations or new memberships with a debit or credit card.   Also our Pre-Summer Free Professional Membership is now over.  Access to member areas are once again restricted to members. We hope you enjoyed this feature.

We had some system problems with payment gateway but now, thanks to our team, and $500 we invested to fix the problems.  One of our members thought others were having the same issues, wanting to pay with a debit or credit card.

Now when signing up for a new membership, or renewing a membership or upgrading one,  when you get to the paypal screen, you can pay with your debit or credit card, without signing up for paypal.

vocpayment

For our store, there are some new payment options as well.  We have express checkout by PayPal Credit (which uses your debit or credit card), or Paypal payments.

expresscheckout

We have also switched to a membership program, if current members have a problem please email us.  We converted and tested everyone fine.

Other updates are scheduled but based on our growth of new members and donations.  We really want to bring you the database where you can find your land grants, information, descendant, payouts and more.

Thanks for your support

2015 Jul-Dec Hispanic Network Goals

The Voice of Change Hispanic / Latino Civil Rights Movement

Hispanics are one of the fast growing populations in the United States.  There are over  54 Million Hispanics living in the US, and over 30 million eligible Hispanic / Latino voters but less than 49% are registered and active voters.  We want to see this change America for the better and change the Hispanics lives and dreams. The largest group of Hispanic people is found in New Mexico (47.3 percent), followed by California with 14.4 million. They are also heavily represented in Texas (10 million) and Florida (4.5 million). In addition, Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, New Jersey, and New York all have more than one million Hispanic residents.

  1. Build a broader Hispanic Voter Base. Engage them in voting, over 80 of Hispanics that can vote, would rather not vote, we want to turn that around to 80% who understand it is necessary for them to vote. Our first goal is to add 5 million more users to the voting population, starting in Texas and California. When we reach that we will work for the rest of the 30 million who are not registered and or active.  In 2014 Hispanics made up 8% of total voters,  black voters 12% and whites 75%. We believe we can change the Hispanic number  to 15% in 2016.
  1. Education is the number one issue of importance to Hispanics. Hispanics and Latinos believe our education system needs a reform. VOC will push new campaigns to help activate this issue. Hispanic communities face other education issues. Some schools are beginning programs to meet the needs of Hispanic students.  We want to see this trend grow.
  2. Jobs is the second issue of importance to Hispanics. Hispanics consider themselves to be discriminated against when seeking jobs. They see more whites and blacks getting the jobs over them. However in the workforce, those employers that hire Hispanics, find a more hardworking employee who is reliable and responsible. VOC will start new campaigns to make this issue at the forefront.
  3. Economy is the third most important issue to Hispanics. Many Hispanic / Latino families cannot even afford to have internet, while other races this is not an issue. One of the most concentrated number of people in poverty is the Hispanics.  VOC would like to address this with equal rights.  Our economy can only be changed by the people we elect and the people who are in leadership in business. We want to see this change through elections, awareness and programs.
  4. Health care is the fourth most important issue. Most healthcare is not affordable to Hispanic families or single Hispanic people. There needs to be a change in quality and affordable healthcare for all groups of people.  Those who cannot afford healthcare should be provided healthcare.
  5. While immigration is about the 10th most important issue and effects about 35% of the Hispanic population. VOC wishes to remain proactive in this area. We believe immigration reform will help America to be able to provide jobs for its own American citizens.
  6. Identity many Hispanics do not want to be considered Hispanic, because of discrimination. We want to change this so the Hispanics can be proud of their Identity.
  7. While we did not mention the Spanish Land Grant Heirs goals, we will continue to pursue active campaigns and causes. We are also working on a Database project, and will be announcing fundraising and details about this in the coming months.

FINANCIAL & ACCOUNTABILITY REPORT JULY 2015

We strongly believe in financial transparency, you will always see where your money goes. Here is this month’s report and updates.

When you have non Spanish Land Grant Heirs, but business people who are enthused about this project look at statistics, it is difficult to keep them enthused when you spent $23,545.00 and only received $148.00.  Add to this the traffic is high on the website, but in social networks and with members virtually nothing is active.   Our subscribers are increasing as always which is the only good news, and our current members want to see us keep going. As you can see we are not taking much money, and don’t know how long we can survive like this.  We are Negative -$10,384.00 in the red this is not good and it is only a growing deficit. The last donation was in April.

We are going to shift some focus on other Hispanic related issues and not so much just on heirs. When the heirs start getting involved more, and donate or join us, we will pick up this agenda.  However we still have active causes and projects going, we hope to energize to a sleeping group of people.

We are hopeful and optimistic that we will be able to meet beyond our goals and be able to put extra money in to litigation, legislation and other measures that are worthy and significant to our causes and not a waste of time or resources. Our staff and supporters believe this strongly. This is why they initially invested $13,012.92 to get the project up and running.

We did write about our database project, which would really be beneficial to everyone that is a heir.  Who knows maybe we could sell it to the comptrollers office to use.  I doubt that is likely but it would enable a person to find their unclaimed mineral funds.

We hope we can encourage you to get active, or join us as a paid member or support us monthly and help volunteer.  Thanks for all of your support. the VOC team.

Please note the first section under the date is nothing to do with finances, it is the number of people, (statistics) that we reach out to, or that are involved or following us.  Also please note the first GL Memos reflect what our founders/staff members contributed to start this project.

Unclaimed Mineral Proceeds What are they – how do I get mine?

Answers:  Today we want to invite you to read information about Unclaimed Mineral Proceeds

Our the supplements section help explain much about the unclaimed mineral proceeds. Click here to read  These documents are a great read and scholarly.  They mostly pertain to HB724 that failed us

Also more great reading is

http://thevoiceofchange.info/unclaimed-surface-and-mineral-estates/

http://thevoiceofchange.info/mineral-rights-in-texas/

http://thevoiceofchange.info/history-of-spanish-and-mexican-land-grants/

Currently we reported about a 2015 Senate bill that past to go back and update receiverships from each well click here to read

How do you get your payout ?  There are a couple of things that help the process, one is you can

1) find an attorney and hire them to help you, or

2) use our heirs royalty guide to help you get started.

Both processes will take some time, some people have been fighting for years, but it is important you get started now, and possibly get in on the federal litigation.

Also this network is working on things, petitions, and campaigns that will help push the agenda legally and politically. We hope to raise enough money to build a database that people can search their name and find information, they need to quickly begin the task of processing their claims and payouts with the State of Texas. It will included genealogy and surveying.  This is a big undertaking and we want to have this ready in the next year.

We can do things while we wait for the Fed Litigation which could take 2 – 5 years

We has some members ask us what should we do. Many people are waiting around while our Attorney’s work hard. We found one of our viewers is a paralegal, possibly they can help the legal team.  We know federal lawsuits can take a long time, it will be filed next year but before we actually go to trial could take some time one, two, three or five years.  How long could the fed. lawsuit take and what is the process ?  We addressed this answer, you can click here to read it

Instead of waiting around  while our Attorney’s are doing the work, maybe you could ask your family and groups some things :

When the lawsuit if filed, what if we had 50,000 or 200,000 people together or 1 million to stand in front of the court as this is going on ?  Get them to subscribe (for free) and join our network and sign the petitions so when we need a vast army to call on, the army is ready. This would make our attorney proud.

There are many things we can do , we have petitions you can sign that go directly to Gov. Abbott, others go directly to the President, Congress and the Senate.  The petition to our Texas Governor allows us to collect 1 million or more (we hope 5 million) This can include every person in your family , would count individually as a person who signed this. When they sign it, an email goes directly to the Governors office and you will get a reply.  I am sure after a while he will get tired of so many emails flooding his office, but he will take notice and that is a great thing.

We think it is is easier if we band together now, in numbers, and prepare.

What skills do you have, we have a list on our website maybe you can drum up support for the petitions. See the link get involved for more information.

Can you help us get people to join our network ($25) a year is a great deal and it helps us keep going.

We are limited also because we do not want to hurt the fed. lawsuit, but we can help them prepare, they have asked any excess funds we receive (via fundraisers) if we can help give this to the litigation, and we agreed. Many of us do not have money and are tired of people asking for money but wait, there are other people with money and we achieve this support through fundraisers.

We have set up ways you can get other people active, schools, companies that can get behind us, they can sign petitions or donate money to the cause we can give 50% of donations raised through fundraisers will to the legal funds to help them do a better job with more expertise.  In our shop Download PR section you find this link http://thevoiceofchange.info/product-category/downloads/pr-downloads/get-involved/  These documents give you all the instructions you need to help people get involved, fundraisers.  The other 50% will go to build other things that will help, for example the database project that a simple one stop shop to finding your unclaimed mineral rights and information you need to get your payouts.  It will included genealogy and surveying.  This is a big undertaking and we want to have this ready in the next year.

Elections are coming up people can get active in these items  we have a 5 million voter registration petition, these people may actually help get behind our cause also.

There really is no excuse for sitting around waiting we can prepare and help make our Attorney’s war chest as she describes it full .

Dozen Illegal Immigrants In Texas Gang Rape 13-Year-Old Girl, NAFBPO Says End ‘Dreams Of Amnesty’

A 13-year old female resident of the Settlement Home for Children in Austin, Texas ran away from the home and ended up in the car of three “Latino” illegals. They took her to an apartment, the Avalon Palms, where she was raped by “a large group of men for several hours.”

Juan Lozano Ortega, 25, and Edgar Gerardo Guzman Perez, 26, have been charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child. Both are currently being held in the Travis County Jail on immigration detainers.

“[The NAFBPO] wishes to draw America’s attention to the fact that the massive alien population illegally present in the United States, often typified as benign huddled masses yearning to breathe free, is simply not as so often characterized,” the group wrote.

Based on past arrest figures, there is a significant percentage living among us with criminal records, many violent, Moreover, organized illegal drug and human trafficking over our porous borders has established transnational criminal operations in over 2,000 American cities. It is certainly reasonable to presume that potential terrorists are also part of this shadow population. Presently, there is no way to know. They live among us.

…NAFBPO urges the American public to directly request Congressmen John Boehner, Eric Cantor and Paul Ryan to abandon their dreams of amnesty, by whatever name, and get on a realistic track to ensure national security and public safety. That track leads to effective interior enforcement in every jurisdiction in all fifty states. Only then can actual border security and control become possible.

IMF releases 30,000 criminal mexican immigrants to the streets of USA

Federal immigration officers released another 30,000 immigrants with criminal records last year, following the 36,000 it released in 2013, the government announced Wednesday — though it promised to take steps to cut down on the problem.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the agency that handles detention and removal of illegal immigrants, said it will no longer allow overcrowding to be the main reason a dangerous illegal immigrant is released, and will require a top supervisor to approve the cases of any serious criminals that officers want to release.
Overall, ICE released 30,558 criminal aliens in fiscal year 2014, which is down from the 36,007 criminals released a year before.
The 2013 releases prompted an outcry, and the latest news that the releases continue is likely to renew the calls for ICE to get a handle on its actions.
New ICE Director Sarah R. Saldana said the number “still concerns me.”
“I am determined to continue to take every possible measure to ensure the public’s safety and the removal of dangerous criminals,” she said in announcing the new steps.
ICE said it had little discretion over most of the criminals it released. The agency said that under a previous court decision, immigrants whose home countries won’t take them back cannot be held indefinitely, so they have to be released after a period of time.
Republicans in Congress have proposed rewriting the law to allow for longer detention of serious criminals, and they have called on the Obama administration to use existing powers to deny visas to leaders of countries that refuse to take their citizens back.
But the administration has declined to take those steps.

Those released from custody are generally supposed to be monitored, and Ms. Saldana vowed to stiffen those procedures to try to ensure those that are released are not able to commit new crimes.
ICE didn’t release a breakdown of criminal offenses of the new 30,000 on Wednesday, but among the 36,000 released in 2013 were 193 homicide convictions, 426 sexual assault convictions, 303 kidnapping convictions and 16,070 convictions for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
ICE said that most of the homicide convictions were court-ordered.
Jessica Vaughan, policy director at the Center for Immigration Studies, which exposed the first batch of 36,000 releases, said Wednesday that giving supervisors more review of each case isn’t a solution, it’s the root of the problem.
“In fact, it’s the supervisors who are ordering the releases, and the intent of the supervision is to make sure that officers in the field are not detaining people — not the other way around,” she said. “The problem is most definitely the policies, not the officers. Creating more levels of review and red tape is not going to solve that problem.”

In San Francisco killing, both sides of immigration debate agree: System needs immediate change

Experts on opposite sides of the immigration debate generally agree on one thing dealing with the tragic death of a San Francisco woman in recent days at the hands of an undocumented immigrant with a long criminal history – many government agencies failed, allowing the alleged killer to roam U.S. streets.

The agencies have engaged in finger-pointing, with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement blaming San Francisco officials for not honoring a federal request, known as a “detainer,” to keep Francisco Sanchez in custody.

San Francisco Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi has defended his office’s decision, saying ICE should have issued an arrest warrant.

“The failures, they were everywhere, at every level of government,” said Ira Mehlman, a spokesman for the Federation for American Immigration Reform, a Washington D. C.-based group that pushes for strict enforcement. “At the federal level, you have policies that encourage illegal immigration, despite this administration’s claims that it has the border under control.”

the Voice of change has learned that recently that Obama has allowed over 30,000 criminal immigrants free from jail, but this is an occurrence that happens frequently in the United States

Should we shut down VOC Land Grant Heirs fight or keep active?

What do you want? We have invested thousands and received less than a few hundred dollars to keep active. In the beginning things where fine, then there were false accusations but cleared up, not formally. Today however VOC offers no contest for free giveaways or perks, we just simply help provide you with more information than any other advocate for your inheritance in just a few months than anyone has done in the last 20 years. Not to say that some advocates have been fighting for you and continue to do so.

We are a group of professionals, we weight the membership, the activism, the statistics of who this network reaches.

We have gone far, we have threatened many politicians, to support our rights, and many upcoming Presidential candidates subscribe to what we voice.  They are concerned, along with senators, representatives and oil companies that threaten our existance.

So this message is to all of our subscribers, members, followers , do you want to us to continue fighting for the spanish land grant heirs? do you want us to push for change? or do you want us to quit?  It is your voice too!

We cannot to continue to invest thousands of dollars of our own money to people who want to answers but do not want to help support or get active. We are business professionals, cannot keep paying for people (heirs) who do not want to invest a small amount of money per year or month to keep our causes active. So the choice is yours, we give to you? Do you want one sole person fighting for your rights, or a active network or thousands? and would you join the thousands and be serious ?

We want to see, so if you want us to continue, will you vote below and if you are not a member, will you join us by clicking here to join or clicking here to donate?

One of our big goals is to do something like one Sharpio suggested a database of all generations, descendants linked to each resource property including the amounts paid it.  Legislation to ensure our rights. Movements to push our Hispanic agendas.  We cannot do this alone, based on 12 members giving in, if we cannot get enough people active to help us keep this going. We have a lot of influence many people are watching our network. We are working with the media and press and some of our staff work for the Associated Press.

The choice is yours, and we will decide if we cannot get enough people to continue the Spanish land grant heirs rightful payments of royalties and other Hispanic causes we may have to move to other efforts that are important to the Hispanic causes.  We think the heirs agenda is one movement in history that will start a revolution like Dr. Martin Luther King did with the African American movement.  Do you want our movement to be something more significant than that ? Then show us by your vote below.

Immigration – What are your thoughts?

Immigration a major news article the past weeks. We want to know what you think so please comment.

Donald Trump said somethings that to many Hispanics were very offending.  Today he clarified his position stating that Mexico is sending some people by choice that are bad. Other people that are good people are crossing the border. There are many good Hispanic immigrants that contribute to a great America.

We have Trump who is very outspoken, wants to build a wall, and control the process.

We have many Mexicans, who think that the United States are capitalists, gringos and don’t want the Americans living or doing business in their country.

We have some politicians, they are not sure what position to take.

There are some immigrants that have family in the United States and want to come, some that want a better life.

We think this is an important issue, we need some guidelines to give our officials. We need to give them direction. Won’t you help by giving us your thoughts?

Please keep everything clean.

We are building a large army, not only of heirs but of Latino voters, we need your help in doing this.  When we increase the size of our army more people will take notice. Do you think MLK when he had a few 100 was much of a voice or when he had 20,000? When he had close to a million, that’s when he made a difference.

a) we have two petitions : please click here to learn about them

b) what’s next how you can help click here to read

c) what else can I do ? read all of our articles on the site, get involved, get others involved

5) What about our politicians, are they doing anything?  I am glad you asked. We reported a few months back about Sen Zaffirini watching this network , and also Rep. Guillen has been long following us.  We reported about what bills they were working on when we interviewed him click here to read about it  , One of those bills passed. Click here to read the text . We are not all legal experts here, but it will help them to go back several years and properly record Receiverships (with the amounts deposited to the comptroller).  How long will this take them?, who will oversee that they do this? There are lots of questions, so we will be be interviewing one these people soon to find out more answers. By the way here is the info of the bill and who supported it, click here

6) How can I find out more answers ?  Well join us and get involved and ask.  If we can help locate the answer for you we will

7) What are some other things we can do that will help us achieve our goals ? Great question, please get involved with us number one.  Help get others involved with us, we can grow an army to 1 Million in less that a few months.  We have posted a lot of ideas, but we welcome your ideas, and can funnel them correctly so they would not do anything to interfere with the lawsuit, but would complement it.   Please don’t sit around and wait, please get involved and encourage others.

8) What if I do not have any money? Great question,  then on our site we give you tools to help get other supporters and contributions. Just think, if this network could give a boost to the attorney team , for their investigators, parlegals, to do more effective work and build a stronger case.  So you don’t need money to help, you can get involved even without helping us raise money, through contributions and supporters.

What are you waiting for ?
